The Boyfriend Borrower by Lindzee Armstrong

This is romantic, amusing and interesting. Troy and Erica are best friends, and have been for almost 20 years. Erica and Juliette are roommates. Juliette gets snarky with Troy constantly, and Troy just makes it worse by being cheeky to her. Troy's job is being a rent-a-date and when one of his clients starts stalking him because she wants him as a real boyfriend, he needs to do something. He decides to get a fake girlfriend to discourage her. He asks Erica, but Juliette points out that anyone who knew them wouldn't buy it, so Erica says Juliette could do it. Juliette doesn't want to though, because she's attracted to Troy. But she needs help with algebra, and Troy gets math easily. Juliette and Troy come up with a deal, she plays the fake girlfriend until stalker girl goes away, and Troy tutors Juliette until the end of the semester. But Troy develops romantic feelings for Juliette, and Erica decides that she's in love with Troy. It's a fun and sweet story.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
