This is a dramatic, amusing and romantic story. Jack is charming, kind, stubborn and entertaining. Lia is sweet, naive and stubborn. The storyline is intriguing and captivating, the surprises just keep coming. Jack's protective personality vs his emotions is put to the test when he goes ballistic upon learning that Lia plans to become a courtesan. Lia is very inept at achieving her goal, especially when Jack keeps interfering. It's a very interesting story that I enjoyed reading and I recommend adding it to your TBR list. This is a steamy and interesting story. Piper is a successful career woman, but she's insecure and a bit immature. Evan is a smart entrepreneur who hides his feelings behind sex. I really didn't like Evan though. I love the idea of the storyline, them getting back together and having a baby, I just didn't like the execution of it. This is an intriguing and suspenseful story. Finn is a romantic, charming and engaging character. Elspeth is sweet, vulnerable and stubborn. I can't say that Finn is too bright, he's too trusting and kind. But he is a very responsible person. The storyline is full of drama and twists, it's completely engrossing and very entertaining. This is amusing, romantic, captivating and entertaining. James is chivalrous, charming, sweet and amusing. Temperance is stubborn, wary and brave. The two intensely dislike the other and what they perceive as their kind. Things change when they get kidnapped, they learn that they are wrong about many things, and start to have feelings for each other. But both are guarded with their hearts and both are stubborn. This is an interesting story, but it reads rather slow. All of the characters are timid but likable. Alyssa is tough and snarky, except when it comes to trusting in relationships. Jake is sweet and sensitive but only shows the world the facade of a player. When you add in exes, the drama skyrockets. I like the storyline and characters, but it could have been more exciting. This book continues the intriguing story of Toby and Hazel. After catching Hazel counting cards Toby decides to blackmail Hazel, his silence if she gets info on what a gang is planning to do to his casino. Toby is snotty and hard, and confused about his attraction to Walmart. Hazel is fun loving and irresponsible, but can she really turn down the opportunity to work with Ellis just so her parents don't learn of another scandal? This is an engaging and charming story. Kane is proud, intense, withdrawn and uninterested in relationships until he meets Presley and finds himself in a sticky situation. Hawke doesn't want a wife, he thinks that no woman would have him, and he can't accept that Lacey might not see him as a half breed. Lacey knows no one will have her if they know that she grew up in an asylum, so she doesn't mention that fact to Hawke. So even though he is attracted to Sarah, he keeps her firmly in the friend zone. Then her sister and his cousin conspire to make them jealous and prod them into going beyond friendship. Sarah is very hyper compared to his calm, cool personality. This is sweet, romantic, intriguing and suspenseful. With a very big twist. Sam is a calm, polite and charming man who loves to solve crimes. While Annette is devastated by her husband's death, she finds herself drawn to Sam, who has his vacation interrupted to investigate the death. They each wrestle with their most inappropriate feelings, both feeling guilty about the attraction, but also at peace when around the other. The storyline is interesting, the characters are all very captivating.

This is a slow moving love story that is full of intrigue and action and drama and amusement. Adham is a simple knight, a gentleman and warrior, who King James asks to form an alliance with his most trusted advisor by marrying the man's daughter, Fiona. Fiona is a ladies maid to Queen Joanna, she's a simple girl who likes her privacy and a bit of freedom. They marry and go back to the highlands so that Adham can collect information about who might be plotting against the king. Throughout the story two bumbling idiots are trying to kidnap Fiona to use as leverage over her father. The storyline is rich with details and interesting characters. Adham is not a favorite of mine, he's too oblivious to his wife's feelings, wants and needs. I do love Fiona. She is feisty, but not overly much, and she is brave and has just enough independent tendencies to make her fun. My favorite characters though are Argus and Eos. This is a suspenseful, romantic thriller. Kristen is terrified to leave Mitchell, because he is a jealous controlling jerk. She finally does and she begins to make herself less vulnerable in the future. She won't date because she doesn't trust anyone. But Kellan really likes her so he convinces her to go on one date, and then slowly earns her trust. Unfortunately Mitchell doesn't give up easily either. This is entertaining and suspenseful. Rocco is a cold hearted man, except when it comes to Daniella. With her he is loving, and protective. Daniella is soft but wants to rule her Family, and is determined to make the other mob bosses see her as the Don. Daniella is mad at Rocco for abandoning her 4 years earlier, but the sparks still fly between them. He wants her back, forever, she wants to rule the Family. But forced together on the run it's hard for them to keep their hands off each other. This is an entertaining and engrossing story. Hamilton is sulky and closed off, but his reactions to Georgette are not typical from day one. Georgette is a sweet, kind and loving person and therefore is determined to protect the twins. As the story unfolds Hamilton comes out of his fog little by little, and Georgette gets more vocal. Then Grace gets the shock of her life, Beau is a shifter. And she can't handle it. Light Fae must unite to defeat the Dark Fae, and Grace learns that life isn't always as it seems. This has a dramatic and engrossing storyline with amazing characters. It's captivating and amusing and entertaining. A must add to your TBR list.

This is the continuation The Sin of the Cities series. It can be read alone, but it picks up right where An Unseen Attraction ends, and the storyline is absolutely fascinating and captivating. It's full of intrigue, mystery, murder, secrets and romance. Nathaniel is bitter man bent on exposing Justin as a fraud. He lost the love of his life and hates that Justin takes advantage of people who are grieving. Justin is bitter about his whole life, he hates himself for what he is, but doesn't know what else to do. The two intensely dislike each other, but they are also overwhelmingly drawn to the other. This is a romantic, suspenseful and dramatic story about love, betrayal and redemption. Grant is a sweet, decent guy who happens to fall in love with girl that hides her true circumstances. Circumstances that normally wouldn't matter, but tragically do. Samantha is a bright good girl who gets starstruck and foolish when she meets Grant. While it's storyline is captivating and intriguing, it's the characters who make the story so charming.

This is a time travel romance, only without the actual time travel. It's unique and suspenseful and captivating. It's full of angst, ghosts and strange people.
