Touched By Danger by Wendy Vella

This is exceptionally well written, amusing and romantic. Max is amazing, he is kind, caring, charming, captivating and vulnerable. He's confused and disturbed by his overwhelming attraction to Essex. Essex is sweet, caring, stubborn and distrustful. The storyline is sweet, with a few surprises. The characters are what make the story fascinating and enjoyable, they are all highly entertaining. This book, and series, belong on everyone's TBR list.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
