Waiting For A Rogue Like You by Samantha Holt

This is amusing, dramatic and romantic. Drake is cheeky, protective, caring and intriguing. He also suffers from PTSD. Julianna is tough, determined, stubborn and caring. When Julianna shows up at the inn looking for her brother, she finds Drake instead of Knight. He ends up having to rescue her, then places her under his protection, which she resents. He is immediately enchanted by her, and she is more intrigued by him the more time she spends with him. Right after Knight shows up, trouble from home arrives and puts everyone on edge. This book, and series, are fascinating, I've enjoyed reading them and recommend adding them to your TBR list.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
