More Than A Memory by Christiana Watson

This is very dramatic, a little romantic and funny, intense and drawn out. Mal and Tanner had met and fell in love a few years before, but a misunderstanding and stubbornness broke them up. Now it's been 2 years, Mal is still angry about what she saw the last time she was at the ranch, and was determined to not let Tanner back into her life. Tanner was still angry about Mal disappearing then ignoring him. They fight, neither one speaks up about why they are angry, they can't keep their hands off each other, but refuse to get involved. I think it would have been a better book if they hadn't been so determined to blame the other. Tanner is sweet and romantic inside, but he doesn't trust Mal, and she doesn't give him any reason to. Mal can't decide what she wants to do with her life and doesn't talk to Tanner about it, she just keeps him guessing. So when all is said and done, it's a good story, just a little too dramatic.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Hidden Gems. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
