Three Nights Before Christmas by Kat Latham

This is a captivating story of love, redemption, forgiveness and trust. Austin is judgmental, stubborn, bold, caring and sweet. Lacey is independent, stubborn, brave, naive and vulnerable. Austin arrested and helped convict her 3 years ago, now that she's been released, he's going to make sure she can't become a drug dealer again. Lacey hates Austin for his part in her wrongful conviction, but at the same time, she's got the hots for him. Eventually she propositions him, and he takes her up on it. Then he needs her to help him restore a train, and they start spending a lot of time together. And Austin slowly learns that Lacey isn't anything like what he believed, and as they become closer, he wrestles with the guilt that he may have helped convict an innocent person. This has a brilliant storyline and beautiful, heart melting ending. It's a warm, feel-good story that should be on everyone's TBR list.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Hidden Gems. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
