The Duke and The Highlander by Joanne Wadsworth

These two stories are brilliant, the storylines are entertaining and romantic and the characters are likable, passionate and intelligent. They each had me from the first page, waiting to see what would happen next. They are two of my favorites among the books that I've read by Joanne.

The characters are interesting, and I really liked Garrett, but I thought that Savannah was weak and ignorant. The sub story of Grady is great, I really enjoyed it. The Duke of Ruin by Darcy Burke

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

This is an intense, fascinating and captivating story of love and courage. Adam is a broken and defeated man, but he is also loyal, brave and caring.
