His Holiday Promise by Ciara Knight

This is a dramatic, romantic and entertaining story. Frederick is kind, charming, likable and honest. Mary is stubborn, caring and untrusting. After devoting the last 10 years of her life to helping her son prosper, Mary suddenly decides to go introduce herself to the new neighbors. Frederick lives with his daughter and his sister, so Mary is caught off guard to find herself around a single man. But after inviting her into their home and lives, she finds that she likes and respects both Frederick and his daughter and so she spends time with them whenever she can. But when Frederick asks to court her she refuses, not wanting to give control of her life to another man. When she realizes that he has worked his way into her heart, she panics. Frederick is an easy going man, he just rolls with it, giving her time to see what her life could be like. Meanwhile her son sends for a mail order bride, refusing to consider looking for love. It's an interesting journey about love and learning to leave the past behind.
