Wind River Lawman by Lindsay McKenna

This is an action packed, intense and suspenseful story. Dawson is strong, smart, caring and charming. Sarah is tough, brave and sweet. Their relationship starts off slowly but picks up in intensity as the story unfolds. They build a bond based on their pasts, which are very similar. The secondary characters add drama and entertainment to the storyline. This book didn't capture my attention as much as the others in the series, but it's a worthy addition.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
