This is sweet, romantic, heartbreaking and dramatic. Robert is kind, charming, bold, brave and strong. Dorianne is strong, resilient, caring, vulnerable and determined. It's not until they have met and instantly fallen in love that they discover that their families are bitter enemies, but that doesn't stop them from wanting each other. Robert becomes determined to make her his wife, but Dorianne has to deal with her angry brother and father when she is caught alone with Robert. Soon they have more than family to deal with, and both just fight for the life they want. This is a fantastic series with characters you get to know and love. Each hero and heroine in this series faces obstacles, but Robert and Dorianne face the most heartbreak I highly recommend this series.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
