Handsome Widower's Second Chance by Elliee Atkinson

While not written all that well, it is simple sometimes, stiff other times, it's a thoroughly captivating storyline. Adam is gentle and loving. Alice is sweet and caring. The two initially fight their attraction to each other, because it seems wrong. They are pushed together by circumstances, and have to unite against evil and crazy. Nathan is cold and unfeeling. Mark is a nice, charming person. It's captivating and suspenseful and dramatic.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
