My Fair Lover by Nicole Jordan

This is amusing, engrossing, romantic and sweet. Brandon is a very determined, amusing, charming and damaged man. Kate is tough, stubborn and gun shy. He refused her 6 years ago, just before he left to help the Americans. Now he wants her as his wife, but she is convinced he can never love her. Kate wants Brandon as a guide so that she can look for the ship her parents died on. Unbeknownst to Brandon, Kate decides to try and make him fall in love with her. At the same time Brandon wants to earn her undying love so that she will marry him. They have their ups and downs, going back and forth frustrating each other, and themselves. I enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading the other books in this series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
