The Game aka Plaything by Kira Blakely

This is amusing, dramatic, intense and hot. Grant is an obnoxious pig at the beginning of the book, but he did have a conscience when it came to Abby's feelings and he quickly learned that he did not like how he felt when he upset her. He became funny and romantic eventually. Abby is full of fire and sass, along with vulnerability because of a traumatic past. It's a captivating story that's even more intriguing with the twists in it. It's a great love story that I enjoyed reading.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
