A Scandalous Vow by Ava Stone

This is romantic, amusing and dramatic. Marc is funny, charming and engaging. Caroline is sweet, unsure and naive. They have an entertaining relationship from the beginning, and it gets more interesting as the story unfolds. I love the fact they are looking for love for the second time, but the first time with each other. The suspense and mystery that surrounds them adds a little bit of danger to the already intriguing storyline. I loved it.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
