Three Reckless Wishes by Lila DiPasqua

This is a brilliant and riveting story. It's full of love, drama, suspense and heat. Luc is a caring, emotioanally damaged and stubborn man. Isabelle is a brave, determined and untrusting woman. Isabelle fell in love with Luc when they were teenagers, but Luc never knew,  they never actually met. But he falls in love with her while reading her journals. When they meet, ten years after she supposedly died, he has no clue that the woman he met, and became obsessed with, is the same woman that wrote the journals. The two become helplessly and intensely drawn to the other, but both have secrets they are not willing to trust the other with. I could not put this down, and surprises so twisted and romantic will make staying up all night well worth it.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
