Fated By The Marquess by Madeline St. James

This is a romantic and intriguing story. Christopher is charming, optimistic and sweet. Claire is strong, independent and vulnerable. They met at a house of ill repute, each needing the comfort they gave to each other. When Claire goes to London to join the Ton, and it looks like she will be outed, Christopher decides to try to come to her aid. I really enjoyed the storyline, and the characters are likable and sweet.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
