This is romantic, amusing and heartwarming. Easton is stubborn, naive, caring and sweet. Lilah is caring, quiet, tough and untrusting. Lilah received her first kiss from Easton when she was 10, and he 12, unfortunately for her it was only because of a bet. She was heartbroken and never forgave him, he lived with the regret of what he'd done. Now, years later, they are both temporarily working at the same ranch where it all began. With Easton trying to repair the damage, and realizing that he has, and has had, genuine feelings for her, and Lilah pushing him away, believing it's just him messing with her. They are cute and sweet as they try to figure out what is between them.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
