This is a romantic, entertaining and fun story. Winchester is stubborn, quick to judge and caring. Olivia is naive, strong and determined. After Winchester finds an upset Olivia at the park, he is called upon to defend her honor, but he decides that he must check the facts himself first. Because even though he is drawn to her, he won't take her word over her accuser. Luckily Olivia has a new friend who has decided to help defend her. By the the time everyone is on the same page and a plan is settled on, the two have become friendly and close. The end of the story is immensely satisfying.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
