Infidelity by Anna Markland

This is dramatic, suspenseful, tragic and romantic. Gallien is untrusting, harsh, stubborn and insecure. Peri is naive, insecure, hopeful and caring. Gallien swore to never give his heart again after he found his first wife already pregnant on their wedding night. Peri was crushing on Geoffrey when she was sent to serve the king's daughter. The king decides to betroth Gallien to Peri, Gallien is not happy about it, Peri is heartbroken. While Peri is living with the Montbryce's before the wedding Gallien ignores her. On their wedding night Gallien is not very gentle with her, until he finds she's a virgin, then he lets things heat up between them. But the next day he's right back to ignoring her. This goes on until he leaves to go to war. The distrust Gallien has wreaks havoc on their lives iver and over. They face kidnapping, misconceptions and tragedy. This is one of the more gripping stories in the series, I loved it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
