Crescendo by Anna Markland

This is sweet, romantic, unpredictable and thrilling. Izzy is a determined, strong, brave man who feels unworthy and vulnerable because of his affliction. Farah is a bastard princess who is kind, caring and generous but feels like she's repulsive because of the scar on her face. There's a magnetic pull between them, but each has their own reasons for believing that the other wouldn't want them. After she leaves, he realizes that he loves her and shouldn't have let her go, so he races to get to her before she gets to her brother, King Alfonso. King Alfonso is a sly and determined man. Izzy and Farah have a grueling trek with many twists before they make it back to Izzy's home. I loved this story and couldn't put it down.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
