Scandal With A Sinful Scot by Karyn Gerrard

This is an intriguing and entertaining story. Garrett is a caring and generous and stubborn man who has lived his life in fear of love because of a curse. Abbie is the woman he fell in love with, then drove away. She is determined, strong and kind. When Abbie sees Garrett again after 15 years, all of the love, longing and hurt come back to the surface. She decides that it's time to reveal to him that he has a daughter. Garrett has been plagued by memories of her all along, when he sees her again, the guilt and love overwhelm him. Unfortunately, theirs isn't the only drama they must contend with. The curse, his nephews addiction and a man seeking revenge are a large part of the storyline. I loved the story and can't wait to see what happens with Aiden.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
