The Pirate Bride by Kathleen Y'Barbo

This is a suspenseful and engrossing story. Jean Luc's is a fascinating character, he's cocky, amusing, caring and honorable. He's a lawyer who prefers to spend his life on the high seas. Maribel is bold, smart, saucy and stubborn. As a child Maribel ended up on Jean Luc's ship, where they developed a bond based on mutual respect and admiration. An accident and conspiracy separate them for years, but eventually they meet again, and the drama and intrigue heat up again. They have an unusual relationship from the beginning that is entertaining and captivating. The storyline captures your attention and the characters capture your heart.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
