This is sweet, romantic and interesting. Linc is kind, caring and hard working, and lonely. So he decides to marry Elzbieta since she couldn't marry the man she was originally supposed to. Elzbieta is a sweet, hard-working woman who needs to get away from her family and agrees to marry Linc. They unexpectedly and unknowingly meet on the way to Texas. As they get to know each other, both wish that they weren't betrothed to another. It's a sweet and charming story with a fun ending.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special.
