Sweet Siren by Cerise DeLand

This is an intriguing and dramatic story. Killian is determined, charming and honorable. Liv is stubborn, independent and caring. All it takes is one look at her and he's captivated. She grew up hating him, but is irresistibly attracted to him. He hires her to design and decorate his home, using that to slowly break her down. And it works for a time, but then it falls apart. The storyline covers various elements that were taboo to the ton, and the characters are entertaining and amusing.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
