This is full if drama, suspense, intrigue and surprises. Henry and Jacintha were cute when they first realized that there was something between them, but then Henry was sent away and he turns into a rake. Which he finds nothing wrong with, until Jacintha treats him like a stranger. Her being pursued by a man she seems interested in makes him realize that he needs to change to be worthy of her so he joins his uncle who is trying to catch a smuggler. Meanwhile Jacinda can't decide if she wants to be courted Lord Slate or not, despite his arduous pursuit. And not everyone is what they present themselves to be, so confusion and angst reigns. The supporting characters are naive but interesting and the storyline is entertaining.
