Shadows of The Mountain by Bev Petterson

This is a phenomenal story. It's gripping, suspenseful, romantic and intense. Jack is focused, confident, romantic and responsible, and he comes off as cold and unfeeling. Kate is strong, caring, brave, and insecure. This is such a brilliantly written book, the storyline grabs your attention from page one and keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat until the very last page. Every character and every mystery and twist just makes it harder and harder to put down. Put it at the top of your TBR list, but don't start it until you can finish it in one sitting.
