To Love A Highland Rogue by Collette Cameron

This is a captivating and romantic story. Logan is chivalrous, reserved and very determined to make his betrothed love him, without he himself falling for her. And he finds that she loathes him. Mayra wants out of the betrothal because he has never shown her that he cares. She is sweet, naive and romantic. When she meets a man in the village she's drawn to him, as he is to her. They fall in love, then he tells her who he is. And she hates him again. It's a thoroughly enjoyable book and I recommend adding it to your TBR list.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special.
