Held By A Highlander by Fiona McKellar

This is an engaging story that captures your attention from page one. Regina is spunky, smart, tough and entertaining. Alasdair is intriguing, he's a softie who has a hardness to him also. The Laird is very confusing, you can't tell how he really feels sometimes. And Michael is just plain creepy. I loved this story, it was hard to put down, and got better as it went.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
