This is an gripping and suspenseful story full of drama, mystery and intrigue. Ramsey is an honorable man who is leading a double life because he's being blackmailed. Gabrielle is a naive lady who has had to turn to thievery in order to pay off her dead husband's debts. Ramsey was also friends with her husband. Gabrielle is going to Paris to steal a bracelet for a mystery man. Ramsey is told to find out who the mystery man is. They end up "working together". And also fighting their attraction to each other. It's a captivating and engrossing story with a shocking ending. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
