This is entertaining, suspenseful, intriguing and romantic. Mark is an obstinate and unbending man who is quick to judge, and slow to believe that which he doesn't want to. He's unfeeling and selfish, completely career oriented. Nicole was once a carefree, headstrong girl in love. Then her husband wrongly accused her being something she wasn't. They separated soon after marrying and she moved to France to protect her heart. 10 years later Mark tracks her down, but only because he wants something from her. A deal is made between them, but unforeseen circumstances turn their lives upside down. It's a heartbreaking yet sweet romance with wonderful characters. Add this one to your TBR list.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special.
