The Duke of Ice by Darcy Burke

This is full of drama, angst, amusement and caring. Nick is emotionally closed off, with good reason. But underneath the ice there is a charming, amusing and sweet man. Violet is kind, caring, independent and strong. Nick and Violet met, fell in love, then were torn apart. Now, years later they meet again at a party Nick didn't want to attend. The storyline is engrossing, sad and romantic. The characters are captivating, Nick and Simon are very entertaining together Violet and Simon are fun and Nick and Violet are intense. You can't help feeling very frustrated for each character and their issues. I enjoyed reading this, and am looking forward to reading about Simon.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
