Jasper Jacks by Ciana Stone

This is gripping, suspenseful, heartbreaking and romantic. Jasper is frustrated, angry, impatient and cheeky. Etta is patient, caring, conflicted and honorable. The relationship between JJ and Etta is fraught with conflicting emotions and confusion. The relationship between Etta and Deacon is sweet and gives them both stability in their lives. The storyline has a twist or two that are interesting and entertaining. The characters and center add a new depth and charm to an already amazing town. I really enjoyed this book.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
