Fatal Identity by Marie Force

This is a gripping story that is full of suspense, intrigue, mystery and surprises. The storyline is fascinating and it gets more intense as the story unfolds. Sam has been suspended, but she can't resist working on a case that fell into her lap. It's too unbelievable and too bizarre for her to leave alone. And once she starts she's tenacious, she doesn't care what she has to do to figure out the mystery. Nick is supportive, but jealous of her FBI buddy Avery. The dynamics between Sam and Avery are interesting, he's sort of like a puppy that follows her around, but gets very snippy when he doesn't like what she says. The twists, the tension, the romance and snarky comments make for a brilliant story that I couldn't put down and highly recommend adding to your TBR list.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Goodreads. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
