Last Chance by Kira Blakeley

This is romantic, engrossing and entertaining. Dash is an engaging and nice guy who just wanted to serve his country, not lose his entire family. Janine is a sweet girl that he met right before he left. When he returns he needs a wife, so he joins a dating site and describes the type of girl he wants picturing her. She sees it and they agree to a fake marriage, but each has held the other in their heart since they first met. Without realizing it, they fall more in love as time goes on, but Dash left a key reason for the marriage a secret, and Billy has a big mouth. He's also a spoiled little baby. It's a thoroughly enjoyable story with some strong characters.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
