Worth The Wait by Claudia Connor

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley. This is an emotional tearjerker. Nick's life drastically changed when he was 20 after his parents are killed leaving him responsible for 3 teenage brothers and a 2 year old sister. He meets Mia at school and they fell head over heels in love. But when tragedy strikes, it tears them apart. 10 years later they see each other again. They realize that they still love each other, but after all the hurt neither is certain that they can get back to the way it used to be. I shed a lot of tears reading this, but the end is very amusing.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
