Cowboy Charade by Barbara McMahon

This is a sweet, romantic, suspenseful and entertaining story. The characters are intriguing and likable. Susannah is a quiet, kind woman. Toby is an engaging, loyal and romantic man. He wants to date her, she won't because of a previous bad relationship. They pretend to be together to catch a drug dealer, only he's not pretending. They manage to have some fun while investigating, and each wishes it was a real relationship. The end is sweet and romantic.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
