Princess of Fire by Heather Graham

This is an epic tale about love, loyalty and forgiveness. It's captivating and romantic and dramatic. Alaric has closed himself off from love, he is just a warrior now and that is what he'll stay. Fallon is also a warrior, a feisty, bold and unforgiving. It seems that Alaric and Fallon were destined for each other, they have had an amusing hate relationship since she was four. Through the agony of war and choosing allies and friends, they are occasionally in the company of each other. Fallon loves to wreak havoc on Alaric, which he finds amusing when she is a child, not so much when she's a woman. They hate each other personally, and because of their nationalities, but they set off sparks when they are together. This is full of history, of wars between kings, drama and romance. It's a thoroughly engrossing storyline. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my honest opinion of it.
