Evergreen by Michelle Love

Well, this is more of a soap opera than a love story. It's full of drama, suspense and shocks. As the story progresses it gets more intense and engrossing. It has a tragic but hopeful storyline. The characters are fascinating and captivating. But one of the "good guys" was no good guy as far as I'm concerned. I also had an issue with the ending, it definitely wasn't what I expected, or hoped, it would be. It left me a little let down and shocked. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest opinion of it.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
