This blog is for me to review books that I have read.
Void by Stella Noir
This book was gifted to me. This has hot sex, suspense and drama. The storyline is interesting and enjoyable, and the characters are intriguing and charming. It's happy and sad and thoughtful. And has a very HEA.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Full of romance and intrigue E.E. Burke spins a a great story about Amy, an independent woman struggling to be her own person in a mans world, and Buck, a man struggling with the demons of his past. Buck is hired to keep her from getting the railroad she is trying to help get built, but ends up meeting her before he knows she is the one he is supposed to take care of, and gets hired as her bodyguard, then falls in love with her. Torn between family and Amy, Buck tries to walk a fine line between the two. The story grabs you and keeps you guessing about who is doing what until the end. I can't wait to read more in this series.
This is a moving love story about love and forgiveness. It's not for everyone, there are some disturbing actions aspects to the storyline, but it is a captivating and romantic story. Asher is a nerdy sadist who is getting bored with life, and is tired of hiding who he is. Sawyer is a masochist who feels guilty about being alive when his whole family is dead. Sawyer takes a job to be close to Asher, and the sparks fly immediately. While Asher tries to resist Sawyer, Sawyer is determined to have Asher give him what he needs. As they slowly open up to each other, they are helping themselves and each other. It's a heartwarming and intriguing story. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
This is dramatic, romantic, amusing and unpredictable. Caleb is charming, kind, gentle and impulsive. Harriet is strong, determined and caring. Caleb decides that he wants to get to know Harriet "the ice queen" with thoughts of marriage. He needs to know if she's another gold digger, or if there is more to her. Harriet wants to marry for love, not money or connections, but after her father dies her mother will not give her the choice. She's all set to dislike the Duke her mother picked for her, and when his head groom shows up to buy a horse, she finds that she is drawn to him. Wondering how she can possibly marry a man when she'd be so close to a man that intrigued her, she's shocked and angry to find that the man she's been dreaming about is actually the Duke himself. I really like both Harriet and Caleb, they are both kind, caring and genuine. The storyline has a few shocking twists that bring drama and tears to the story. I received a copy of this boo
