Somewhere My Lady by Beth Trissel

This is a brilliant storyline. Time travel, ghosts, love, friendship and betrayal come together to make a fascinating and intriguing story. The characters are captivating, both past and present, the offer entertainment and mystery. Hart and Lorna are a tragic love story whose past and present revive the love and heartbreak of their relationship. This is unique in that the time travel goes both ways for multiple characters. It's romantic and suspenseful and exciting. It's a must for your TBR list. I will definitely be reading more books by this author.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special.
