Pretend To Be Mine by Suzie Nelson

This is an amusing, sweet and romantic story. Jordan is hard on the outside, but charming and vulnerable on the inside. Danica is a smart, determined and a bit naive woman. They are a great couple, they're both interesting and likable. And the end was dramatic and suspenseful. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

Spurs N Surrender by Em Petrova

This is such a good series. I love the storyline, everybody pulling together to rebuild their town, and the guys dealing with PTSD. Anya is a wealthy, upbeat whirlwind who cares deeply about people and falls in love with Los Vista when she arrives. Wydell is a strong, determined good guy suffering from PTSD but has made it his mission to rebuild the town. Anya and Wydell set off sparks and tempers with each other, fighting one minute, loving the next. This is engaging and romantic and brilliant. The characters are warm and charming. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

A Stone In The Sea by A.L. Jackson

This is a great really story. It's full of angst, mystery, suspense, drama, secrets and love. Baz is a hurt, angry, loyal man. Shea is sweet, loving and vulnerable. The moment their eyes meet they are helplessly drawn to each other and begin to fight it, neither wants a relationship. But they are so good together, she sees in him everything good that he doesn't see, and he sees in her a chance to be himself, not Sunder lead singer Baz, just plain Baz. It's an engrossing story, at times it's sad but mostly it's heartwarming. Now the bad. 1) DO NOT START THIS UNLESS YOU ARE READING THE NEXT BOOK IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS, cause this one leaves you hanging during a very traumatic event. 2) The repeating things 3 times gets old quickly. 3) And my pet peeve with authors is when I need to add the words I, You or others to the beginning of a sentence because they don't refer to which character the sentence is about, and this author does it so much that it gets annoying a

Tomorrow's Lullaby by Lindzee Armstrong

This is far different than the Lindzee Armstrong books that I've read. It's much more serious and somber. At times it felt like I was being preached at, not reading a story. But it really is a heartwarming story with mostly likeable characters. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

Save Me Daddy by Jess Bentley

This is a dramatic story of bullying, betrayal and love. Daniel lives in his own little world, but he tries to make other people's lives better where he can. And that includes policing the college that he lives near. Which is where he finds Kita, being hazed and in danger, and so he brings her home. And becomes torn between his desire for a girl half his age, and his desire to just protect her. It's a captivating and entertaining story full of heartbreak and romance. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

Forsaken by B.B. Hamel

These people are twisted, both Gio and Grace, but Gio being an inadvertent knight in shining armor works. Gio is actually a caring and romantic person. Grace is almost broken beyond repair, but not the way Gio wants her to be broken. The storyline is intriguing and dramatic, Gio is amusing and Grace is sweet. It's a great love story. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

One Night With A SEAL by Tawny Weber and Beth Andrews

These are two parallel stories about twin brothers Zane and Xander. Each meets a woman that they are interested in, temporarily. Zane is blown away by his friend's little sister Vivian. Xander is once again infatuated by his high school crush Quinn. Zane is amusing, charming and captivating. Vivian is bold, funny and entertaining. Xander is determined, romantic and loyal. Quinn is vulnerable and entertaining. I liked the storyline of Zane and Vivian better than the one with Xander and Quinn, but both are captivating and enjoyable. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the authors. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

Aimee had her heart set on marrying the man she left in France, but soon finds herself attracted to her new husband. Simon is charming and engaging, and vulnerable. Aimee is naive and brave, and alone. It's a captivating story that you can't put down once you start reading it. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

The Lady Travelers Guide To Scoundrels and Other Gentlemen by Victoria Alexander

This is an amusing and entertaining story. The storyline provides romance and intrigue and drama. The characters provide amusement and charm. What starts as an antagonistic and uneasy truce, formed to find a missing person, turns into a journey of self discovery and tentative friendship for Derek and India. Then it eventually turns into admiration and love. It's a captivating and fun story. I can't wait to read the next book. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

Hard Rock Sin by Athena Wright

This is an emotionally charged story about two people who are emotionally damaged, sensitive and vulnerable. It's also sweet, romantic and happy. Lily always had a crush on Cameron, but to Cameron she was his band mates baby sister. Until she comes home after being away for years. He tries to resist the pull he has towards her, she tries to break through that resistance. They give each other what they desperately need and are an engaging couple. Apollo's 11 by Anna Collins

This is an amusing, entertaining and romantic story. Apollo is a cold, harsh, yet engaging character. He's somewhat oblivious to his family, and doesn't stand up for himself. Until he meets Callie. Callie is a sweet, loving and determined woman. The dynamics between Apollo and his siblings is a bit weird, and his relationship with his son is baffling. The storyline is intriguing and captivating and I enjoyed the book. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

The Gossip of An Earl by Linda Rae Sande

This book is very confusing. There is so much going on with so many people, some with the same name, some that look alike and some being two people. There is also confusion about the timeline, it goes back and forth so often that it's almost impossible to keep it straight. The storylines are romantic and fun, but they would have been better as two separate books. The characters are amusing, interesting, sweet and captivating. The endings are entertaining and enjoyable, and worth reading the book for. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Candid Book Reviews. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

The Unsuspecting Duke by Emma Abbey

These are entertaining, amusing, romantic and enjoyable stories. The characters are charming, fun and sweet. But they are still brilliant stories that captivate and engage your heart. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

Single Mom Wanted For Fake Marriage by Aubrey Dark

This is a charming story that is entertaining and romantic and amusing. William is a workaholic, responsible yet spontaneous, sweet and a romantic at heart. Sierra is a thief who knows nothing else. They make a cute couple, even when they are telling themselves that the marriage isn't real. The brothers are jerks and immature, and they add so much drama. But circumstances can change thinking, and so can an unknown child.

A Cowboy's Return by Vicki Lewis Thompson

This is full of angst and heartbreak. I didn't really like April, she broke Ryker's heart and punished him for being himself. Ryker is sweet, romantic, charming, proud and extremely likable. The storyline is engrossing and romantic, but sad. Ryker and April sizzle when they are near each other, but both fight against it because she is convinced that they can't work, and he refuses to be devastated again. Him playing guard for someone who hates who he is is adorable. The end is very abrupt and unexpected, but captivating. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. Giving It All by Christi Barth

This story is full of of excitement, fun and romance. And it's the most satisfying story of the series. Logan is a loner due to the trauma he suffered 10 years ago. But deep down he longs to be with for the people he loves. It turns out that he's quite the romantic ladies man, but he's afraid to lose the people he cares for. So he doesn't let himself care. Brooke is a very sweet person with a big heart who keeps getting crapped on by men, and kicked by life. The friendship they had in high school evolves from that to a fling, then to an awkward relationship. The fight that Logan has with himself about what he wants from life is sad, he has the worst PTSD of all the ACSs. The storyline is engrossing and dramatic, and loaded with excitement. Wynonna by Em Petrova

This is a beautiful ending to a fantastic series. I will miss the Calhoun's and their antics. Wynonna is the last single Calhoun, because the man she loves, Mav, doesn't think that he's worthy of her. Mav loves Wynonna but thinks he is too old and broken to be good for her. Mav acts like a first rate jerk when he gives in to his lust, pushing Wynonna away, then pulling her back. He's a bit of a wimp compared to the Calhoun boys, but he's exactly what Wynonna needs. I loved this story, Wynonna is such a firecracker. And Mav so isn't. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

Winter by Michelle Love

This is a gripping, suspenseful steamy thriller. The story keeps you captivated with all the twists and mysteries. Every time you think you figured out who did it, it makes you question yourself. The characters are all a little off their rockers and strange. Tommaso starts off as a charming gentleman. But then he makes you start to wonder. Raffaelo starts off as a creepy crazy man. But then you wonder if you're wrong about him. Inca is vulnerable and sweet, then gets stubborn and stupid. Olly is a good friend. Knox is just normal. Luna is jealous b*tch. That Wicked Harlot by Georgette Brown

This is entertaining, amusing and romantic. Radcliff is cocky, captivating and responsible. Darcy is tough, determined and unfeeling. What starts as a wager turns into a battle of wills.
