Maybe With You by Nicole McLaughlin

This is an achingly sweet and heartwarming story. Jake is a sweet, adorable and special guy. Alex is a smart, stubborn and vulnerable woman. They developed a friendship while she was overseas mourning her dead fiance, then progressed to lovers on a work road trip. And while he starts to have feelings for her, she is so focused on moving forward that she refuses to even consider having any type of relationship with him. An unexpected twist turns their lives upside down and has him fighting to keep her. This is the second book that I have read by this author, and I love that the men have personally issues that they overcome, and are the sweetest guys with huge hearts. I definitely recommend adding this series to your TBR list.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
