Wind River Rancher by Lindsay McKenna

I received this book from Netgalley. This story gives an in depth peek into Vets with PTSD. It's emotional, heartbreaking and hopeful. Shay hiring the Vets to help them get their lives back is inspiring, watching the struggles to change and heal is tough. Reese and Shay help each other overcome so much while they build a relationship and fall in love. This is such a great story, I only wish real life could be like this for all Vets.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
