MacLeans Passion by Sharon Cullen

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Another riveting tale in the Highland Pride series. This is well written, engrossing and entertaining with characters that are so full of life you can easily love them. This is one of my favorite authors and series. Colin is not very proud of himself before he meets Maggie, but with her strength and love he becomes everything she believed him to be. Maggie is as strong, wild and reckless as any lad, until she meets Colin and he helps her become a woman they can both be proud of.

The characters are interesting, and I really liked Garrett, but I thought that Savannah was weak and ignorant. The sub story of Grady is great, I really enjoyed it. This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
