Bounty by Aubrey St Claire

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is well written, engrossing and suspenseful. Liam and April have a complicated relationship, they are both confused, both feel guilty about lying to the other and both determined to end the relationship to prevent more injury to the other. Liam struggles with doing his job, catching Aprils father. April struggles with the knowledge that her father is a mobster. It has a HEA, but I was not expecting it to end the way it did.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
