Prairie Passion by Tessa Layne

This is romantic, steamy, sweet and amusing. Brodie is charming, sweet, cocky and romantic. Jamey is proud, stubborn, vulnerable and sassy. Both have a temper, both are hiding a secret. Teaming up to save his butt, Jamey and Brodie fight like cats and dogs, which takes their sizzling attraction up a few notches and causes all sorts of drama. Jamey is a tough cookie who turns to mush every time Brodie, the closet romantic, touches her. It is an intriguing and interesting storyline with an amazing cast of characters.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
