A Dream of Redemption by Bronwen Evans

This is intense, heartbreaking, engrossing, romantic and sweet. Clary is strong, honorable, dedicated, broken and insecure. Helen is headstrong, naive, caring, brave and stubborn. Clary has always thought of Helen as an angel, a person who has a heart of gold. Helen has always been attracted to and intrigued by Clary. Working together pushes their awareness of each other beyond what it should be. Clary doesn't think he's entitled to the love of a decent woman and Helen thinks fate has brought them together. Their love story is beautiful and sweet, but what they deal with is ugly. There are some happy surprises and the ending is not one I would have guessed at. I loved it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
