This is romantic, dramatic, engrossing and entertaining. Donald is brave, sweet, honorable and patient. Eleanor is headstrong, bold, caring and vulnerable. They met a year before when she tried to steal her horse back, each feeling drawn to each other, but too shy to say anything. When they meet again, the twists and drama start. It's the kind of story that snags your attention and keeps you turning the pages. You should add it to your TBR list. I can't wait for the next book.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special.
