Taming The Wild Captain by Gemma Blackwood

This is an interesting, charming and entertaining story. Kirby is amusing and intriguing. Alice is spunky and bold. The storyline is engrossing and the other characters are fascinating. The Duchess is full of fire, yet very proper. Harry is mellow for a Duke. Catherine is stuffy. The twist in the story and the resulting actions is sweet. I enjoyed this very much.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
