First Love Second Chance by Kira Blakely

This is a romantic and emotional story. Jude is a heartbroken man who has only ever wanted one thing, Ava. Ava is also broken hearted, because of her brother's death, which she blames Jude for, and because she loves Jude. They are both in an emotional tug of war when they meet again years later. The storyline pulls at your heartstrings and the characters inspire your sympathy. It's a thoroughly captivating and engrossing story.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special.
